From an early age, Zoe Messinger, 18, has been tasting and cooking her way through the world. In this idiosyncratic and personal book—one part cookbook, one part memoir, one part travelogue—she shares food flights of fancy and witty reminiscences inspired by travel. Throughout her 46 “taste trips,” Messinger remains grounded in the knowledge that food cooked with care and served with love sustains the heart as much as the body. This book was her high school senior project. In fall 2011 she will enter Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration.
